Scottish Rite Scholarship
The Scottish Rite Foundation, a nonprofit organization, has been a generous supporter of students pursuing graduate degrees in Communication Disorders at EKU. If funds are available, the Scottish Rite Foundation will provide scholarship information and a deadline date. Applications are typically due in May. Award recipients are typically notified in June.
KSHA Scholarships
The Kentucky Speech-Language-Hearing Association invites graduate students to apply for the Steckol and Stanley Awards.
ASHFoundation Scholarships
The American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation (ASHFoundation) invites full-time students who will be or who are currently enrolled in a graduate program in communication sciences and disorders to apply for graduate scholarships. Scholarships are available to students who are undergraduate seniors or who are currently pursuing a master's or doctoral degrees. Learn more at https://www.ashfoundation.org/apply/
WHAS Crusade for Children Scholarship
The WHAS Crusade for Children, a nonprofit organization, has also been a generous supporter of graduate students in the EKU Communication Disorders graduate program. The application opens in September of each year.
ApraxiaKids Scholarship
Apraxia Kids offers a scholarship opportunity for 2nd year graduate students who have an interest in working with pediatric speech-sound disorders post graduation. This scholarship of $1000 is in honor of Kristin Lynn Johnson, who was a dedicated speech-language pathologist who had a passion for helping children with apraxia of speech. The Graduate School offers some financial assistance, including graduate school awards and graduate assistant positions.
