2023 Summer Programs

The Eastern Kentucky University Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic announces summer 2023 programs for communication needs.   Multiple opportunities for communication evaluation and/or intervention are available.   Call 859-622-4444 or email eku.slhc@eku.edu for more information.  

Speech Language Intensive Summer Help (SPLISH) camp is a 2-week (Monday-Thursday) program for children ages 3-10 with speech-language-hearing needs. Participants will be matched with a graduate student clinician and engage in individual, small group, and whole group activities. Student clinicians are supervised by nationally certified and KY state licensed speech-language pathologists. Registration is $50 with scholarships available for those that qualify. Pre-registration required by calling 859-622-4444 or email eku.slhc@eku.edu. Payments can be made in-person or at this secure link.	Individuals with fluency / stuttering concerns can receive individual or group therapy sessions the week of July 10-13th. This program daily with graduate student clinicians, supervised by ASHA Board Certified Fluency Specialist, Dr. Charles Hughes. Dr. Jade Robinson is hosting a Family and Me Playgroup for children ages 2 & 3, and an adult caregiver/family member. The playgroup will meet 5 dates throughout the summer (June 21 & 28, July 5, 12 & 19). Registration is required.
